Today , artist Mark Englert has consume that memorable episode and turned it into a stunning poster .
The poster is called Deep Space Homer , and it ’ll be available from 12:00 post-mortem examination PST Friday until 12:00 Prime Minister PST Sunday atDark Ink Art . It ’s a collaboration between Englert , Acme Archives , and 20th Century Fox . The print measures 12 x 36 inches .

I ’m beyond excited to have gotten another chance to function with FOX and Acme on an episode - centric Simpsons bill sticker . Deep Space Homer is sit down firmly among my favorite episodes of The Simpsons . The 2001 bit , the Home Improvement and Married with Children parodies .
I still cite the installment to this day , ‘ The only danger is if they send us to that awful Planet of the Apes . waitress a minute … Statue of Liberty … that was our planet ! ’ and ‘ deliberate ! They ’re ruffle ! ’ Oh , and of the line the ‘ I , for one , welcome our new insect overlords . ’ That ’s a whole large meme thing on the cyberspace . I even occasionally get the Golden Grahams jingle stuck in my head thanks to this sequence . ‘ How doth the hero , strong and brave . A supernal path in the heavens pave … Go , Dad . Go . ’ I could do this all 24-hour interval . I ’ve watched this season of the show way too many times .
