Cardi Bis ready to steal the 2024Super Bowlspotlight.
The “Bongos” rapper, 31, is set to star in a new game-day commercial for NYX Professional Makeup, which marks her first beauty partnership.
“NYX is a brand that I’ve used since high school and that’s why it’s so special to partner with them for this campaign,” the Bronx native shared in a press release. “NYX has always made the best, affordable products, and that’s why I still use them today. We had a lot of fun making this over-the-top, hilarious commercial and I can’t wait for everyone to see.”
The makeup brand released a teaser on Thursday ahead of the ad’s big premiere on Feb. 11.
In the 15-second clip, the Grammy winner holds a tube of the brand’sDuck Plumpgloss and looks at it dubiously.
“NYX Duck Plump? That’s suspicious. That’s weird.Freaky,” she says as the camera zooms in on her face with each word. The line is in reference to an audio of hers that went viral on TikTok.
Cardi B applies the gloss to her lips (the perfect finishing touch to her pink glam), before the video cuts out with the artist’s famous laugh.
