Stop - motion living is one of the earliest frame of cinema and it ’s only expand over time . But you ca n’t really see how far we ’ve come in without looking all the way back .
Vugar Efendi recently released a video called “ The Evolution of Stop - Motion , ” showcasing 116 days of stop - move in just under three minutes . It does n’t show the first credited example of lay off - motion animation , Vitagraph ’s The Humpty Dumpty Circus in 1898 , but it showcases some of stop - motion ’s early root , like The Enchanted Drawing , through the most late discontinue - motion works , like Kubo and the Two Strings .
For those who have n’t seen Kubo yet , it ’s a technological marvel , representing just how far stop - apparent movement animation has amount in the past 100 + year .
