There ’s some weird sense of humor at drama in titling this instalment “ Defenders of Peace , ” considering the lesson of the sequence seemed to be “ Being a pacificist will get you kill . ” Even the hopeful blue-blooded words of Wisdom of Solomon that start each episode had a especially machismo quality to them , this week : “ When surrounded by war , one must finally choose a side . ” Oh , really ?
