Two regular guys fall into an exotic teleportation gimmick and find themselves on a planet of unhinged people in Kin - Dza - Dza ! , a 1986 Russian movie that satirize the declining USSR by having masses play very very featherbrained for 135 minutes . It ’s fundamentally like the foresighted Monty Python sketch in history : the Plukanians only say the word “ Koo ! ” ( they ’re telepathic or something ) until they eventually study some Russian . And there ’s lot of sappy behavior , like the rum pumpy bouncing in this clip .
The Plukanians have outre customs duty , including the fact that when we see two guys , one of them always has a bell hanging from one anterior naris . And they have a little gimmick that looks like a ovolo crusade , but can severalise whether you ’re upper class or lower family by scanning you ( which one of the Plukanians attempts to do in this clip . ) They ’re technologically advanced but have weird shortages , and a loge of matches our traveller are carrying becomes the most worthful aim on the planet . An alive remake ( hopefully with English subtitles ) is in the works for next class .
