Last minute reminder ! Today , 5/13 , join your fellow io9ers in San Francisco for your first ( or tenth ) viewing of awing moving picture The Avengers . Afterwards , we ’ll stick around for drinks , food , and hanging out .

Special Note : This is not a 3D show because — lease ’s confront it — 3D sucks . If you are dying to see it in 3D there is a 5:30 PM 3D show at the same theatre and you could still contact up afterwards .
HANGING OUT AFTER : Jillian’s(downstairs at the Metreon ) , right after the moving-picture show . drink and cake food ! Meet near the barroom , and say hi to several of io9 ’s writers , editors , and moderators who will be in townspeople for this fine result . We will be the one with io9 stickers . Also , somebody will videotape a piece of paper to Annalee ’s back that says “ io9 ” on it .
