This carving — called Geometric Death Frequency-141’—shows a liquid slop in a 20 - by-50 - human foot invisible cube . Made entirely of small black spheres , it ’s so complex that is being entirely manufactured by robots , who paste the nut one by one .
The scultpure plans were make in a 3D curriculum by Federico Díaz for MASS MoCA 2010 — the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams . Díaz program the CAD software , using mote physical science to simulate the liquid . Once he got the frozen shape he want , he created another 3D manufacturing computer software , taking the spherical pixels into real 3D quad . For that he also had to produce his own custom “ 3D impression ” rig , that employ robotlike arms and threefold glue dispensers .
I do n’t hump who Federico Díaz is , but after look at his awe-inspiring skills and brain in legal action , I can say you that I ’m trusted he ’s not related to me at all . [ MassmocaviaDesign Boom ]
