HerMadden NYC platform loafersjust quietly went on sale at Walmart for $15, making them a no-brainer addition to my footwear collection. In fact, I may grab them in multiple colors, including black, white, and silver.

Loafers are a classic and sophisticated choice that can be worn with just about anything — including casual denim, dresses, and skirts. The lug sole, which feels reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s previousEra’s Tourstyle, provides a trendy and modern touch. The design makes them easy to slip on in a rush, while the platform also adds extra cushioning for optimal comfort. Plus, they’re made from a sleek polyurethane material that looks as luxe as patent leather and is easy to wipe clean.
While PEOPLE editor Ali Faccenda did note they’re on the heavier side, she praised the durable outsole that has anti-slip traction. She also added that there was no break-in period, and she didn’t suffer from any blisters or rubbing after wearing the loafers numerous times. As a blister-prone shoe shopper, this was a major draw.
Shoppers were equally impressed withthe loafers. One customer said they’re a lot more comfortable than they expected and similarly caused no blistering for them, while another person noted that they were similarly able to wear them while they were on their feet all night with zero complaints or help from bandaids. A third reviewer added that they look so expensive and are a great alternative to designer styles.
