Jeff Bezoshas added another impressive property to his Floridian real estate portfolio.
After reportedly spending $68 million on a mansion near Miami Beach last summer, the Amazon founder, 59, has purchased the home next door for $79 million, multiple sources confirm to PEOPLE.
“Bezos paid $79 million for his neighbor’s house this week,” one source says, adding, “He must want to have one big bash on Miami Beach.”
His recently purchased property was reportedly built in 2000 and sits on two acres. The seven-bedroom spread is stacked with luxury amenities including a wine cellar, home theater, swimming pool and cabana.

Bezos' real estate moves come after a summer spent motoring around the Mediterranean with fiancee Lauren Sánchez on his megayacht.
The billionaire and the Emmy Award-winning journalist, 53, had an engagement party aboard the vessel on Italy’s Amalfi Coast in August, a source confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.
The celebration took place over two months after the couplegot engagedin May. Bezos and Sánchez took their relationship public in January 2019, shortly after Bezos announced his divorce from MacKenzie Scott after 25 years of marriage.
