Super Bowl LIII - New England Patriots v Los Angeles Rams

Brady recently expanded his social media presence, joining Twitter — and kicking off his profile with a joke that had Patriots’ fans freaking out.

The quarterback wrote in his first-ever message, “I’m retiring. In my spare time, I’ll be tweeting #LFG.”

Luckily, the faux announcement came on April Fools’ Day, with Brady an hour later clearing up the joke for stressed followers. “Was this a bad joke?” he tweeted after the initial message.
